We’re looking for an organized, engaging Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator who will connect and guide applicants to our programs. The Admissions Coordinator will play a key role in screening applicants and enrolling learners in cycles throughout the year. The Admissions Coordinator will also be integral to ensuring our systems work seamlessly to allow us to screen and select applicants in a uniform and equitable manner. This role will also drive efforts to codify and improve our enrollment systems and processes. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain portfolio of regional cities and drive team conversion efforts to target 50 enrolled learners per cohort 
  • Guide applicants and prospective learners through online application, screening, eligibility, interviews, and placement tracks to help drive program and job retention
  • Execute daily admissions process to help engage and move an applicant through the process.
  • Engage in weekly strategic communication with those individuals who have a location unknown to move into the application process.
  • Use risk assessment tool and work closely with Career Advancement and instructional staff to determine max levels of risk each program cohort can support 
  • Plan and conduct virtual taster days, Q&A sessions, and support diagnostic or follow-up interviews
  • Manage effective admission and enrollment systems and operations while adhering to Generation standards 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of various admissions tactics by analyzing applicant data, contribute to departmental best practices, and regularly present findings to leadership to improve the enrollment process overall 
  • Represent Admissions & Enrollment team in internal trainings and external prospective applicant events 
  • Coordinate with Program Compliance for any applicant escalations with thorough adherence to policy, procedure, and guidelines
  • Enhance Generation’s admission department and overall brand reputation by executing in accordance with standardized practices and building strong applicant relationships

Data Management 

  • Determines prospective learner's level of program readiness and behavioral risk factors by researching, analyzing, and documenting a holistic representation via the prospective learner’s application data, outreach and video interview. 
  • Liaises with the Data Systems team to raise learner-affected & admin-specific technical issues (e.g. tracks submitted tickets, prioritizes escalations, etc.)
  • Assists and guides A&E team members with troubleshooting any learner issues/questions with acceptance status, Cohort Selection Form and allocation. 
  • Engages in daily quality assurance practices utilizing multiple systems/tools for the admissions process (e.g. tagging duplicates, correct coding, etc.) 


  • 3+ years of experience as admissions counselor, in admissions or enrollment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counseling or relevant field preferred
  • Combination of educations and/or work experience will be considered
  • Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, people reading, and decision-making skills, and ability to stay organized

Salary & Benefits

This is a regular, full-time (40 hours/week) salary, exempt position. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000.
