If you are a methodical, driven, creative and analytical, comfortable producing content and conducting data analysis, then we have the perfect role for you. Granicus is seeking an Associate Marketing Specialist with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and a keen interest in building a career in Marketing.
The Associate Marketing Specialist will report to the UK Marketing Manager and work closely with the Business Development teams to help execute the marketing plan, create content, manage campaigns, generate demand, track performance, and use data to enhance initiatives. This position will be based in our London office, or remotely within the UK. 

What You'll Do:

    • Support the UK Marketing Manager in executing the Marketing Plan
    • Contribute ideas and concepts for marketing programs designed to promote and grow the Granicus brand
    • Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to progress programs that are impactful to Granicus
    • Play a key role in organising webinars, conferences, trade shows and other events, taking the lead on specific projects where required
    • Assist in building programs and messaging for different personas 
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to create and edit content, write copy for ads, briefs, emails, presentations, press releases, marketing materials and create other content
    • Manage social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages
    • Manage aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on the marketing funnel and its impact on sales pipeline and bookings
    • Monitor projects and campaigns to optimise performance based on industry best practices
    • Produce, analyse and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
    • Maintain contact data quality
    • Perform other relevant duties as required

Who You Are:

    • You ideally have a degree in marketing, communications, or general business 
    • You have a strong interest in software marketing, government communications or high-touch sales 
    • You possess some understanding of Account Based Marketing (ABM) best practices 
    • You ideally have an understanding of key marketing systems, such as Salesforce and Zoom Webinars 
    • You are a self-starter that requires minimal supervision and has the business acumen to prioritise projects and workload 
    • You are an excellent communicator with great written skills – You know a good subject line from a great one 
    • You have great organisation and project management skills, and understand how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment 
    • You possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment where functioning autonomously and collaborating as part of an international team are equally important  
    • You are a self-starter with the curiosity to expand the scope of assigned projects and tasks as needed  
    • You are passionate and/or experienced in working with public sector entities
