Position Overview
The EEK Squad is Care Access’s internal intelligence base that answers employee questions regarding the strategy and delivery of clinical studies being conducted by Care Access’s Site Management Organization and Decentralized Research Organization. Reporting to the EEK Squad Manager, the EEK Squad Specialist plays a critical role in answering employee questions in a timely manner to allow them to proceed with their work. This role is best suited for someone with a high sensitivity to customer service and who enjoys helping teammates solve problems. This role will follow the Care Access EEK Squad processes in accordance with industry regulations, Care Access SOPs, and study-specific requirements.

What You'll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
-Assist in managing the site operations manual and related process flows (ensure all changes are accurately tracked, draft new versions of the document, and liaise with senior leadership) in coordination with EEK Squad Management.
-Provide input and decision making on project specific process changes.
-Delegation of tasks to EEK Squad Coordinators, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and senior leadership.
-Maintain understanding of multiple project scopes, milestones, and goals to achieve highest quality results.
-Create, maintain, and effectively utilize general and study specific guides & websites to provide correct answers to employee questions in order to maintain patient safety and compliance with research regulations.
-Provide support to team members and departments in order that Care Access teammates have accurate and up to date information required to perform their roles according to company SOPs while following appropriate process and guidelines.
-Utilize critical thinking to make decisions regarding providing process guidance.
-Broadcast study news in collaboration with the study specific EEK Squad Specialist and Field operations leaders.
-Implement project management skills to ensure that staff at study sites have access to up-to-date resources needed to complete patient facing visits from study start up through close out visit.
-Oversee incoming EEK Squad tickets and delegate to EEK Squad coordinators as required.
-Provide answers and support for queries within the expected time frame.
-Use good judgment to determine when extra support from EEK Squad management, CTM team, SMEs, or sponsor is needed to answer a question, and when the provided answer to a question does not seem correct and further investigation is needed.
-Communicate clearly with Clinical Trial Management Team, Field operations team, Care Access Subject Matter Experts, and Care Access leaders on a regular scheduled basis and as needed to ensure all inquiries are answered in the expected timeframe.
-Collaborate with Clinical Trial Managers to escalate inquiries to study sponsors.
-Complete/maintain all company and sponsor required trainings and ensure they are filled in the appropriate location.
-Facilitate project specific meetings and action items with Care Access SMEs and leaders.

Physical and Travel Requirements
-This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
-Operates no tools, machinery, or equipment. No significant lifting.

What You Bring

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Self-starter mentality who can work independently to drive results forward.
-Knowledge of general clinical research processes and Good Clinical Practice required
-Operations experience preferred
-High level of professionalism and a passion for customer service
-Ability to manage against tight timelines and competing priorities
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
-Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
-1+ years customer service experience
-Clinical research experience of at least 3 years required
-Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or equivalent is preferred
-Experience in clinical research field operations is preferred
