In this role, the Manager, Deployments is responsible for supporting Decentralized Clinical Trials. As a Manager, Deployments you will own the overall planning, operations and logistical success of the decentralized clinical trial site deployment. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Ensure people, equipment, and supplies all arrive in a coordinated manner at a mobile clinical research site location
    • Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute successful site deployments, schedule regular check-ins with deployed teams, and ensure clinical operations are given the proper support
    • Be on call to troubleshoot issues and triage appropriately
    • Resolve conflicts with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
    • Develop systems, processes, and job aids to streamline the deployment process
    • Assist in systems building and planning for new and existing clinical research studies on the mobile deployment model

Role requirements:

    • 3-5+ years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Clinical Research, Biopharma or Healthcare with process oriented thinking
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter
    • Ability to work in high-stress environments and can work with many different personalities
    • Problem solver
    • Ability to work on nights and weekends as needed (non typical)

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    • Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse team of professionals
    • Strong organizational skills: Able to prioritize, delegate, direct, support, assign and evaluate others work and follow through on assignments
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by positive interactions with coworkers, management, clients, and vendors
    • Team Collaboration Skills: Work effectively and collaboratively with other team members to accomplish mutual goals.
    • Bring positive and supportive attitude to achieving these goals Strong computer skills with demonstrated abilities using clinical trials database, IVR systems, electronic data capture, MS word, and excel
    • Ability to balance tasks with competing priorities
    • Critical thinker and problem solver
    • Curiosity and passion to learn, innovate, able to take thoughtful risks and get things done
    • Friendly, outgoing personality; maintain a positive attitude under pressure
    • High level of self-motivation and energy
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
    • Must have a client service mentality
    • Working knowledge of federal regulations, good clinical practices (GCP) (Nice to have)


    •  Bachelor’s Degree Required


    • PMP, RN, CRC Certification a plus, but not required
