Position Overview
This role will create, maintain, and support all post-production processes & tasks ensuring that the end-product is aligned with the production goals. It is a critical role in making sure that all audio and video recordings are edited so that they align with the vision and messaging of the co-founders. This role will work closely with producers and audio/video editors.

What You'll Be Working
On Duties include but not limited to:
-Lead the creative video editing by outputting compelling videos across a broad range of content.
-Track, process, prepare and manage all Post Production media, assets and resources.
-Transcoding file formats as necessary.
-Work closely with producers and stakeholders to influence and shape the scope of each production.
-Review edits for revisions.
-Allocate, coordinate, & manage resources such as video editors.
-Engage with producers in hiring key post-production personnel (freelancers) as needed for projects.
-Track and manage Post Production schedules and resources. -
- Oversee that Post Production workflow is followed over multiple projects, simultaneously.
-Anticipate and prevent complications during production and post and independently resolve conflict and other challenges.
-Ensure all media assets are delivered on time and to spec.
-Facilitate communication between Producers and Post Production talent.
-Remain current on industry technology (e.g., editing software, camera packages, dailies workflows, sound formats and color science) and exchange information.
-Identify areas where post production can improve and move to implement these changes.
-Foster a positive work environment through on-going performance feedback.
-Backing up and archiving media as necessary in coordination with the Video Ops manager.
-Making sure footage is accessible and readily available to editors, producers, and stakeholders.
-Preparing and shipping media as necessary in collaboration with Video Ops.
-Troubleshooting computer and software issues, interacting, and collaborating with IT as necessary.

Physical and Travel Requirements
- This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.

What You Bring Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
-Video Editing with Premiere or DaVinci
-Motion Graphics
-Pre-Production & Production
-Working knowledge of project management tools
-Strong organizational & interpersonal skills
-Experience in managing teams/people

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience: 
-Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
-5 plus years of relevant experience in the production field
