About the role:

At Classy, we’re passionate about our nonprofit clients and helping them see success using our software. Classy’s Customer Renewals & Expansion team is responsible for working closely with Account Executives and the Customer Care teams to renew clients and expand their product usage via upsells and cross-sells. This position sits within the sales team but works cross-functionally with the Customer Success and Care teams.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Partner with Sales and the Customer Success Management team to develop and implement win/win negotiation strategies that improve renewal contract value while protecting and enhancing the customer relationship.
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate strong account management capabilities to drive renewal to on-time closure.
  • Be an expert negotiator using Classy subscription, support, and service packages to provide value to the client and Classy.
  • Monitor customer health metrics to identify risk and successfully forecast realistic renewal rates.
  • Communicate risk clearly and work cross functionally to develop resolution strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on renewal status to management and advance as appropriate.
  • Drive conversations with customers on multi-year contracts.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Management team to drive customer product adoption and high utilization.

What you bring (Required):

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in sales or 1+ year of experience in a renewals role.
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding quota.

Demonstrated ability to listen, negotiate, and present to clients.

What would be incredible to have (Preferred):

  • Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
  • SaaS/Internet experience preferred.
  • Previously trained in consultative/value or MEDDICC based selling is a plus.
