Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, business requirements and company goals; responsible for the entire lifecycle of projects or features including design, development, and deployment; manage new features and maintenance of the internal Salesforce.com instance and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving business requirements; work with the Agile Scrum delivery team, Product Management & end users as needed to analyze project objectives and capability requirements; use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate with various internal departments, including software engineering, data science & commercial, to ensure that the Salesforce environment supports needs relating to functionality and performance; develop a general understanding of Indigo’s Salesforce infrastructure and release process and begin adding incremental value to the infrastructure; resolve all assigned tickets within each sprint cycle to meet business requirements; actively contribute to building and troubleshooting process automation (Workflows, Process Builders, Flows, and Validation Rules) across our Salesforce instance; develop a general understanding of Indigo’s business units and processes to provide context and direct input to and output from Salesforce; conduct User Acceptance Testing sessions to show functionality of new components, processes, and features, with no roll back, no hot fix, and no data corruption launches; and display a broad understanding of the business context of work happening across the organization.

 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Engineering and Management, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience working on all phases of the Salesforce development lifecycle (including requirement gathering and analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) and performing process automation (including Workflows, Flows, and Validation Rules).

 

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience working with Apex Collections, Triggers, Classes/Controllers, and Lightning Components and Salesforce best practices (including, permission sets, profiles); 3 years of professional experience working with Code structure and architecture in service of testability and quality; 3 years of professional experience working with systems integration and using Salesforce migration methods (including ANT, Change Sets; 3 years of professional experience working with Data Management in Salesforce using Data Loader; and 2 years of professional experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud (including case management, queue management, live chat agent).
