We are looking for a mid-level research software engineer / data engineer to help us build and maintain a clinical data warehouse based upon OHDSI (https://ohdsi.org). There will be lots of SQL, some R and/or Python. We will also be using Julia. Familiarity with FHIR and medical terminologies is a bonus. We use the DataBricks platform hosted on Azure. There will be NLM and ML data science in addition to traditional data engineering tasks. Besides electronic healthcare data, we also have integration with other data sources such as EKG, GIS, etc. 

This is not simply a backend job. Several days per week will be spent fielding researcher requests, navigating them though the available data resoures to find the relevant information they seek.
