Granicus is looking for a Systems Engineer experienced in enterprise level app. and app related data storage to join our internal infrastructure and network engineering team.  This role is critical to maintaining and optimizing the performance of Granicus' data networks and infrastructure, with a focus on availability, scalability and simplification. Devices include (but are not limited to):
- NetApp FAS (spinning disk) and AFF (all flash) storage multi-node clusters
- NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP 9 and above
- Thales/Gemalto/SafeNet disk encryption key storage
- Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure storage tiers

What You Will Do -
·        Plan for and install storage hardware/software upgrades and new releases
·        Ensure regular patches and updates are installed
·        Perform or monitor system backups/recovery
·        Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, including maintenance windows
·        Triage, resolve and document incidents and problems
·        Execute well documented Change Controls
·        Ensure storage resources and assets are logged and monitored along with appropriate actions for events
·        Take initiative to suggest and implement improvements/enhancements, especially geared towards automating Granicus systems
·        Document changes, incidents, problems, and architecture from a technical support perspective
·        Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Granicus infrastructure assets
·        Participate in Infrastructure Engineering automation efforts
·        Provide technical input for the larger efforts of the storage team
·        Assist with the design, and implementation of storage best practices
·        Ensure Infrastructure Engineering has proper capacity planning, reporting and management of storage resources
·        Provide backup support for DNS and other Infrastructure Engineering systems (based on candidate experience and interest)
Who You Are and What you Bring -
- 4+ years’ recent experience providing support in a clustered storage environment
- 2+ years’ recent experience administering NetApp or another storage technology
- Recent experience supporting Enterprise-level storage systems
- Experience with SnapMirror functionality
- Experience with scripting and programing languages
- Experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience with IP network services including DNS, NTP, SSH, etc.
- Working knowledge of certificates and certificate management
- Working Knowledge of IP networks, firewalls, load balancers

Bonus Qualifications -
- Recent experience with NetApp FAS (spinning disk) and AFF (all flash) storage
·    Recent experience with NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP 9.8 and above
- Experience support hardware and software encrypted disks
·    Experience with Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure storage tiers
·    Experience with Ansible and NetApp Ansible integration
- Recent experience CentOS 6/7, RedHat 6/7/8, Ubuntu 18/20, Windows Server 2016/2019
- Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP
- BA/BS in a technology related discipline

·        NetApp clusters patched bi-annually or more frequently as needed
·        Projects executed in a timely manner with expected results
·        Change Controls executed with expected results
·        Quality of written documentation reflected in tickets and online documents
Security Requirement:  Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
